In the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Welcome back to another episode of like Kingdom calm with Katie Hughes. And today, we have a very special guest to spirit filled media, it's spiritual radio, and her name is Sequoia Sierra. And she's a new friend to me in ministry, but also is exciting is and you'll find out more is that she will have a new show with spirit filled radio. And it will be called a culture of beauty. And what's really exciting is it will be airing at 1130. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday after the show with father Jacob, which is beauty of our Catholic heritage, that they're going to be a great dynamic duo for the beauty of our church, all that's there to be offered that lift our gaze up to heaven, and to help us understand that we are part of God's kingdom. And that's why I thought it was really exciting to have Sequoia on the show that Kingdom Come is that she's been led into an area of design, which we'll get into later. But design of beautiful work for the church. Welcome, Sequoia.

But I've always loved design, like I've, you know, had sketches, I would create clothes for my dolls at a very young age, my mom taught me to sew, and I was probably doing those things from around the age of four. So I knew I always had an eye for clothing and garments and beauty, and what I thought looked good together and creations of my own. And then, you know, life was a little bit rough, because we definitely, you know, grew up in a divorced household and all that kind of thing. But God was also great through that. Because of that, I ended up spending a bunch of time with the nuns, the Carmelite sisters actually in Alhambra. And I was born at their hospital, they held me before my parents did. And during, because since I was very young, with all the stuff that was going on at home, I just would spend all my time at the convent. So basically, the Carmelites raised me, since I would spend th
