It's time for the renewal of the mind radio program with Father Patrick Gunn, yo. And here's your host, John Stockwell.

John Stockwell: 0:39

Thank you, Austin. Welcome back to the renewal of the mind on radio radio program program program

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau: 0:45

starts with an hour ends with an 80 year old radio radio

John Stockwell: 0:47

program. Hey, notice how I repeated those words. I learned something new in a homily this past week.

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau: 0:55

I want to hear just wanna say Austin, no smoking in the studio cheese. Sorry. Oh, it's just candy cigarettes. Oh, yeah. All right, good. Yes, health of mine, heart, soul and body. So what did you hear in a homily that touched your how you may

John Stockwell: 1:07

know this. But you know, when we they we have the prayer. Holy, holy, holy Lord. Yes, sir. I love that the priests told us in the homily, that the Hebrew didn't have a word to describe something as bigger. So if you said something was really big, you would say it's big, big. Wow. So the fact that we say Holy, moly, holy. It's not just like a poetic kind of thing. It means it's holy beyond beautiful comprehension. Beautiful. It's like Mega, holy, holy, holy, holy. And if

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau: 1:40

we didn't, it wasn't I love that I've never heard that said. And it's interesting, because it was very recently that we heard that I, you know, I came across that reading and I say, of course, when Isaiah sees the he sees he comes into the temple, and he sees the Lord. Yeah. And he, you know, he sees the angels saying holy, or he hears them saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, right. So is that interesting like that? Isaiah is writing what he heard the angels saying, and yet there's this like, I don't know. Well, you just said,

John Stockwell: 2:12

right, powerful. So it's like, if somebody is really smart, they would say he's smart, smart, smart, smart. He would never say he's smart, smart, smart. Like if you say it three times, like,

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau: 2:20

wow, that's powerful. Wow. That's heavy holiness. Well, that is a beautiful scriptural insight. Thank you and thinking of, yeah, Lord, how about we turn to Him with all our heart take? It's okay, Johnny,

John Stockwell: 2:30

the name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Amen. Well, thank you again for another radio program. And we ask that your peace and your comfort just reaches everyone that is listening right now. And they always keep their eyes fixed on you. And we ask us all in Jesus name.

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau: 2:47

And Lord, I thank you for the insatiable, insatiable thirst that John has to learn thank you for his hunger. And I pray that everybody listening all of us, we continue to hunger and thirst. And now we just declare Your Holy, holy, holy Lord God of Hosts. And we ask you to anoint this program with your presence, and then it would help us all receive the grace of renewal of the mind today, Mary, Queen of Pentecost, pray for us. All you angels and saints pretty please pray for us. Pray for us. Bam, name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
