Andrew O'Keefe: 1:10

Morning, Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, in the audience today, spirit filled radio, we're so glad you could join us we have all of our guests are special, but we have a really super special guest today, who's going to talk to us about loving an addict, or two or three. Because so often we know people that are suffering from addictions, and we try to help them but oftentimes, it's it's hard to do that because we're not sure what to do. But Paula has been helping addicts for a long time, she's got some stories that she will share on recovering God's miracles, healings of addictions, because there is healing. And once we have an addiction, we have an addiction, but we don't have to live with it. Any addiction is the only disease there is that we can put in remission. And Paul is like a triage doctor or nurse in an ER case, she helps people put addicts in remission, so they don't keep us awake all night, every night. So there are ways to deal with that. And I like to quote our friend, Jeff Foxworthy, who says, If one's too many and 1000 aren't enough, he just might be an addict. And I raised my hand Hi, because I am an addict. And people like Paula have prayed for me and supported me through my recovery. And I need that help every day. And we have numerous quotes from about addicts from stinking Steve Greco and father Richard war's, we all have addictions of some form, but we all have God who we can call on to help us do those. So regardless of an addiction of alcohol, or drugs, or food, or sex, or whatever the addiction is, there are those who love us, and will help us through. And at the beginning of this program, we have a song, by Mercy Me called hold fast help is on the way. And I'm going to read a couple of stands as of that, to everyone who's hurting, to those who've had enough to all the undeserving and that should cover all of us, please do not let go. I promise there is hope. holdfast help is on the way, whole fast, he's come to save the day, what I've learned in my life, one thing greater than my strife is his grasp. So fast. And Paula has figuratively and literally helped mother's father's sister's brothers of addicts holdfast. And help is on the way. And in many of those cases, exactly the help our addict needed, they got, personally, I have a couple of loved ones that are addicts, and I love them. One eats too much. And one drinks too much just like their dad. So I wonder where they got that. But they're good man. And I pray for them every day, and God works miracles. So, Paul, I promise, I'm going to give you a chance to speak here on recovering God's miracles. And I'd like to turn it over to you to hear your story of how you've helped people hold fast. Thank you again for joining us.
