I am so delighted to be here, say thank you. Well, he

was also the current president of the goddess in Seattle little goddess chapter, which le goddess essentially means ambassador. And there are people to really to defend the faith and to be an ambassador for Jesus. And, and that's a big part of what we're called to do. When you say you.
Hugh: 1:54
Absolutely, if you if you actually go to the Catechism, we're called to be saints, to be printed. And we're called to be ambassadors, that the way I liken it is, if we have experienced this extravagant love of Christ, then we are responsible for sharing that with as many people as possible. And as business owners and leaders, we are in a particular geographical area, Seattle, where only about 8% of the population are Christians and are comfortable even talking about that. So for the business community here in Seattle, we need a refuge, we need an army hospital, so to speak, where we can bring people in, nourish them with the word, encourage them about how to live their life, from a Catholic Christian perspective, and to have fellowship and so that that's what we do with the goddess up here.
Deacon Steve: 2:48

And we're talking about a leaders journey from fear to holy boldness. Tell us about your journey. Tell us about how you came to really know the Lord, You are cradle Catholic?
Hugh Blane: 3:09

So where I learned and where fear became hardwired, for me, was at six years old. And my father had was an entrepreneur, he had a business reversal. And I remember the day that I was upstairs playing in my bedroom, and I was playing with like a GI, Joe doll. And I literally heard my mother scream the word no, three times. And as a six year old, I didn't know what was going on. So I kind of ran downstairs, and I saw my mother in the door jamb with both hands on the door. And there were three men standing outside, and I'm looking what's going on. And they
