Norbertine Father Jacob Hsieh (Shay) is a priest of St. Michael’s Abbey in Southern California. A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, he was ordained a priest by Bishop Kevin Vann in 2015. His work for the community includes teaching Latin to freshman and junior religion at Mary Star of the Sea High School in San Pedro, and chant at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Wilmington, a parish. and school of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, staffed by the Norbertine Fathers.  In his priesthood, Father Jacob has immersed himself in the rich liturgical traditions of the Church, sacred music and chant, piano concertsand has a passion for sharing what he has learned with others on his Podcast The Beauty of Our Catholic Heritage, on our ministry's Podcast Spirit Filled Radio/Podcast.

Fr. Jacob Hsieh is a Norbertine Father of Saint Michael's Abbey in Silverado Canyon, California.  He currently serves at Saints Peter and Saint Paul in Wilmington, Ca.  He leads the music for the parish.   Fr. Jacob has great love for the Traditions of our Catholic faith and his show focuses on the many beautiful facets of the Roman Catholic Church.
